Bluehaus designed the DIFC Funds Centre in Dubai to seamlessly integrate high functionality with a sophisticated hospitality ambiance, reflecting the dynamic needs of modern fund managers in an innovative, compact workspace.
Bluehaus, a TP Bennett company, has delivered the interior design for the new DIFC Fund Centre, an 11,800 sqft office that brings together purpose-built functionality, refined materiality, and a subtle nod to hospitality interiors. Created to support a new generation of fund managers and financial professionals, the centre reflects the Dubai International Financial Centre’s reputation for both quality and ambition.
Developed in close collaboration with the DIFC team, the project blends formality with hospitality and approachability. The design relies on a calm, neutral palette, layering natural stone, warm metals, and robust finishes with carefully integrated lighting and FF&E selections that soften the sharpness often associated with financial environments.
While the spatial footprint was compact, the design strategy was agile and efficient. A clear zoning logic accommodates various user needs, from focused workspaces and private offices to adaptable meeting rooms and a lounge that doubles as a hospitality area.
Furniture selection supports ergonomic variety, with sit-stand desks, self-adjustable chairs, and compact features like focus pods and booth seating.
The layout accommodates a range of tenant needs, from flexible desks in an open plan, to semi-enclosed workstations, and fully enclosed private offices for one, two, four, or six users.
To maximise the reach of daylight across a deep floorplate, the ceiling was angled upward along the window line, allowing natural light to enter deeper into the space. Alongside this, suspended lighting panels provide a consistent ambient glow.
As workplace environments evolve to blend hospitality, wellness, and flexibility, the DIFC Fund Centre demonstrates how even compact footprints can deliver high design value without compromise. It is a confident, quietly luxurious environment.
