ASD|SKY designed KMCL’s new Atlanta office at 1200 Peachtree with biophilic elements, earth tones, and collaborative spaces like ‘brainstorm zones,’ creating a creative and environmentally reflective work environment.
KMCL is an environmental and energy law firm with a national presence, having recently relocated from Promenade Tower to 1200 Peachtree in pursuit of a workspace that embodies their expertise and values. ASD|SKY has crafted a design for their new space, incorporating subtle elements of biophilic design infused with deep, rich earth tones. Traditional conference rooms are complemented by breakout areas—referred to as ‘brainstorm zones’ by KMCL—providing a relaxed and collaborative environment for meetings.
At the heart of the office is the reception and social hub. Featuring a custom millwork screen and porcelain tile floor reminiscent of river rocks, this area also boasts a shuffleboard table, offering a refreshing break during the workday. The social hub further includes a large live-edge communal dining table and a spacious island, perfect for hosting events and happy hours.
Spanning approximately 8,989 square feet, the space is designed to inspire creativity, foster collaboration, and reflect KMCL’s commitment to environmental and energy law.
